All our consultations are by appointment. We have a number of vets working routinely at the clinic during the week and for non-emergency appointments we will book this with the vet you request where possible.
Operations and Surgery
We carry out many routine and minor operations at the clinic. For more involved surgical cases we may advise this is done at our PAWS surgery in Nuneaton. Please note that on rare occasions we may need to cancel operations at short notice if for example we have an emergency which takes precedence.
There are also a number of available services we provide to clients in addition to routine consultation and surgery services.
Free New Pet Health Check
All new pups, kittens and rabbits, if seen prior to vaccinations, receive a free health check by one of our vets.
(Please note - if your pet has a problem, then a regular consultation fee will apply).
Free Flea and Worm Treatment
All pup and kitten primary vaccinations will receive a free first worm and flea treatment.
Free 4 week Pet Insurance
We strongly recommend insuring your new pet and can offer 4 weeks complimentary free cover with Pet Plan for animals up to 1 year of age.
Please ask a member of staff for details.
Kitten Health Plans
To help spread the cost of vaccinations, neutering and identichipping we offer a discounted payment plan over equal payments.
Pet Health Plans
Spread the cost and save money on annual preventative and routine treatment. There's no reason not to sign up!
Pet travel advice
If you are planning to travel abroad with your pet we will be happy to provide advice on requirements for your intended destination. Please note from 1st January 2021 EU pet passports will no longer be valid and an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) will be required. Further information can be found at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/pet-travel-to-europe-from-1-january-2021
Hip and Elbow Scoring
We can perform at Paws Veterinary Health Centre for health screening in accordance with BVA and KC schemes.
Whilst we understand there may be times where a home visit is preferred, we will try where possible to accommodate your request, bearing in mind our commitments to other patients and the circumstances of the request.
Where appropriate we can arrange referral of your pet to a specialist as required. We currently make no charge for this service.
We are pleased to support charity neutering schemes.
